Family Therapy

Find a dance you love together

Family therapy is unique in that each person represents a moving part that affects each other person in the family unit. Helping families realize what their "dance" is and helping them understand how they can change their patterns to get more harmony, respect, and understanding is paramount to this work. Some examples of family issues I have treated are:

-Helping parents to strengthen the parental unit to provide more strength and guidance for their kids

-Helping parents understand what their child's acting out behaviors really mean

-Helping kids and teens communicate to their parents and find emotional security in that relationship

-Helping families deal with suicidal feelings in a member or other struggles with mental illness
